In a blog post on Wednesday, the Algorand Foundation welcomed Alchemon to its ecosystem. Alchemon is a monster-collecting NFT staking, crafting and trading card game currently available on the Algorand Blockchain. Alchemon has received a grant from the Algorand Foundation and will receive the help of the Algorand team as it builds the NFT and gaming ecosystem on the blockchain.
Algorand is an open-source, permissionless, Pure Proof-of-Stake (PPoS) blockchain protocol for “the next generation of financial products”. As such, Algorand ensures "full participation, protection and speed within a truly decentralized network".
ALGO is trading at $0.6661 at press time, up by more than 7% in the last 24 hours.
