On Thursday, the LayerZero team announced via X that $WPAY is now live on the Base blockchain, powered by LayerZero OFT. With this integration, Wirex Pay ($WPAY)’s payment network now spans Polygon zkEVM and Base natively.

LayerZero is an interoperability protocol designed to facilitate seamless communication between different blockchains. It aims to create a unified, interconnected blockchain ecosystem where assets and data can move freely across various networks. ZRO trades at $2.223, up 15.3% in the last 24 hours.
