The THORChain team said it is currently negotiating to add 15 million RUNE tokens to node operations. This effort is designed to increase the security of the blockchain. Furthermore, with an increasing number of new nodes coming online, the Node Cap is being considered to increase to 120.

Full nodes are the ones that really support and provide security to Bitcoin, and they are indispensable to the network. These nodes may also be referred to as fully validating nodes as they engage in the process of verifying transactions and blocks against the system’s consensus rules.

THORChain is a decentralized cross-chain exchange where traders can swap cross-chain assets via liquidity pools across Binance Chain, Ethereum, and Bitcoin. RUNE is down by more than 4% so far today and is currently trading at $3.913.
