In a Medium post on Tuesday, the Sandbox team announced that it has partnered with Apex Athletes. The collaboration will bring Shaun White, Nathan Chen, Chloe Kim, Lindsey Vonn and Ayumu Hirano to The Sandbox Metaverse, The Sandbox added. Apex Athletes is a sports NFT project showcasing a photo and video from the personal collection of 26 athletes. 

The Sandbox is a virtual world built on the Ethereum blockchain, where players can build, own, and monetize their gaming experiences. SAND has added more than 10% to its value in the last 24 hours and currently trades at $2.9881 per token.
