The Sandbox announced via a Medium post on Monday that it has invested $1.7 million in the metaverse agency Index Game. Index Game is a Hong Kong-based metaverse agency that has partnered with a few brands in The Sandbox ecosystem. The investment is to continuously support INDEX GAME’s exceptional development in the metaverse, NFTs, GameFi and Web 3.0 to create play-to-earn content that expands the possibilities of the interconnected virtual realm, The Sandbox added. 

The Sandbox is a virtual world built on the Ethereum blockchain, where players can build, own, and monetize their gaming experiences. SAND is up by less than 1% in the last 24 hours and currently trades at $1.0405 per token.
