Securitize launches share-backed tokenized U.S. stocks on Solana with USDC settlement, investor entitlements, and plans to expand toward 24/7 trading.

Securitize Brings Apple, Nvidia and Tesla Shares Onto Solana

TL;DR

  • Securitize has launched tokenized stocks tied to Apple, Microsoft, Nvidia, Alphabet, Tesla, Meta, and Amazon.

  • The offering is also expected to include SpaceX, Palantir, Circle, and Strategy.

  • Tokens are backed 1:1 by underlying shares, with applicable shareholder rights, dividends, and corporate-action entitlements.

  • The platform launches on Solana with USDC settlement and extended U.S. market hours, with 24/7 trading planned.

Securitize has launched tokenized U.S. stocks on its platform, bringing exposure to major companies onto Solana through tokens backed by underlying shares.

The initial lineup includes Apple, Microsoft, Nvidia, Alphabet, Tesla, Meta, and Amazon. The offering is also expected to include SpaceX and Palantir, alongside crypto-focused companies Circle and Strategy.

The launch comes as the onchain value of tokenized stocks exceeds $3 billion, with Securitize accounting for a substantial portion of recent growth.

Share-Backed Tokens Include Applicable Investor Rights

Securitize’s offering uses a structure called the Convertible Entitlement Token, or CET.

Each token is backed 1:1 by underlying shares held through Securitize Markets’ regulated brokerage infrastructure. Holders receive applicable shareholder rights, dividends and entitlements arising from corporate actions.

CEO Carlos Domingo said the company’s objective is to bring the ownership experience onchain, combining share backing and investor rights with regulated market infrastructure.

That structure is central to Securitize’s effort to offer more than tokens that simply track a stock’s market price.

Solana Trading Launches With USDC Settlement

The offering launches on Solana, with transactions settled in Circle’s USDC stablecoin. This comes a few months after Solana announced the initiative.

Trading will initially support extended U.S. market hours. Securitize plans to move toward round-the-clock trading, although the announcement does not establish that 24/7 access is available at launch.

Earlier this year, the company enlisted Jump and Jupiter to support liquidity and access for its stock tokenization initiative.

Securitize said CETs are designed to connect existing securities infrastructure with its longer-term goal of issuer-sponsored tokenization.

If a company subsequently adopts an issuer-sponsored tokenized share structure through Securitize, existing CET positions could transition into that model.

The approach gives Securitize a way to offer share-backed tokens today while preparing for companies to participate directly in issuing tokenized equity.

That transition depends on individual issuers adopting the structure; it is a potential future step rather than a feature confirmed for every stock in the launch.

Securitize Builds on Its Own Onchain Stock Debut

The rollout follows Securitize’s debut of its own SECZ shares on both the New York Stock Exchange and blockchain networks.

The company launched those shares on Solana and Avalanche, becoming the first company to debut shares both onchain and on the NYSE.

At the time, President Brett Redfearn revealed that Securitize was discussing additional onchain IPOs with major investment banks.

The new stock offering extends that strategy, pairing existing brokerage infrastructure with blockchain settlement as the tokenized equity market expands.
