Project 2090 announced via Medium on Monday that it has integrated Chainlink’s Verifiable Random Function (VRF) on BNB Chain.

Project 2090, a metaverse-centric project that aims to provide identities to blockchain users in the metaverse, announced via Medium on Monday that it has integrated Chainlink’s Verifiable Random Function (VRF) on BNB Chain. By integrating the decentralized oracle network, Project 2090 says it now has access to a tamper-proof and auditable source of randomness needed to support a verifiably random method for distributing Virus NFTs among existing holders of its Cyborg XX NFTs, which can then be used to mint new Infected Cyborg XX NFTs.

Chainlink Network (LINK) aims to provide tamper-proof inputs and outputs of data for smart contracts on any blockchain. LINK is down by less than 7% over the past 24 hours and is trading at $16.36 at press time.
