The Polygon Labs team announced via X on Thursday that Play AI is building a modular intelligence layer for gaming with Polygon CDK, with plans to connect to the AggLayer to power web3 gaming composability.

Play AI will function as the intelligence layer that facilitates the deployment of AI agents for gaming within the ecosystem. Play AI will leverage the Aggregation Layer (AggLayer), which combines the benefits of monolithic and modular designs by unifying liquidity through safe, atomic cross-chain transactions using ZK proofs. Thus, helping to create an interconnected network that feels like a single chain with unified liquidity and practically unlimited scalability.

Polygon (previously Matic Network) is the first well-structured, easy-to-use platform for Ethereum scaling and infrastructure development. Its core component is Polygon SDK, a modular, flexible framework that supports building multiple types of applications. MATIC is down by 1% in the last 24 hours and is currently trading at $0.9948.
