The Polygon team announced via Twitter on Tuesday that National Geographic is set to launch its first NFT collection on the Polygon blockchain.

The Polygon team announced via Twitter on Tuesday that National Geographic is set to launch its first NFT collection on the Polygon blockchain. The collection, called SnowcraftNFT, will commemorate National Geographic’s 135th anniversary. The Genesis Collection signifies Nat Geo’s vision to push the boundaries of innovative storytelling and promote access and inclusivity by bringing together 16 photographers and digital artists who show us daybreak around the world, Polygon added. 

Polygon (previously Matic Network) is the first well-structured, easy-to-use platform for Ethereum scaling and infrastructure development. Its core component is Polygon SDK, a modular, flexible framework that supports building multiple types of applications. MATIC is down 1% in the last 24 hours and is currently trading at $1.0081.
