The Klaytn team announced via Medium on Thursday that it has allocated $20 million to advance blockchain research. Klaytn will create a Blockchain Research Center (BRC) program. The team added that the fund aims to back research projects for the continuous development of its blockchain technology over the next four years, to deepen blockchain capabilities and support industry growth.
Klaytn is a public blockchain developed by Ground X, the blockchain arm of Korea’s internet giant Kakao with 50 million users worldwide. KLAY is up by more than 2% in the last 24 hours and now trades at $1.025 per token.
