On Thursday, Chainlink announced via X that Kelp is integrating Chainlink Proof of Reserve Secure Mint to enhance the security and transparency of rsETH. Kelp is a liquid restaking protocol on the Ethereum blockchain.

By leveraging Chainlink Proof of Reserve Secure Mint, Kelp can programmatically enforce 1:1 collateralization, ensuring that new tokens are only minted when reserves meet or exceed the required backing. Lending protocols will also be able to leverage the Chainlink PoR rsETH feed to independently verify asset reserves in real-time

Chainlink Network (LINK) aims to provide tamper-proof data inputs and outputs for smart contracts on any blockchain. LINK is up 2% over the past 24 hours, trading at $14.78.
