The Sandbox announced in a tweet yesterday that gaming company Hermit Crab Studio will develop a virtual city on its platform. The virtual city is inspired by Brazilian culture and is set to introduce various sports experiences, allowing players to interact in a multiplayer social space.

The Sandbox is a virtual world built on the Ethereum blockchain, where players can build, own, and monetize their gaming experiences. SAND has lost more than 6% of its value in the last 24 hours and currently trades at $3.78 per token.
