Chainlink announced via Twitter on Wednesday that Coorest has joined Chainlink BUILD to help accelerate the adoption of its carbon compensation platform. Coorest is a Web3 platform that enables anyone to become carbon-neutral by voluntarily offsetting their CO2 emissions.
By joining Chainlink BUILD, the project will make 5% of its native token supply available to Chainlink service providers, including stakers. Coorest currently uses Chainlink Data Feeds to access satellite data from Flood Light to help verify the carbon captured by NFTrees and is exploring the use of Chainlink Functions to update other aspects of its smart contracts.
Chainlink Network (LINK) aims to provide tamper-proof inputs and outputs of data for smart contracts on any blockchain. LINK is down by less than 1% over the past 24 hours and is trading at $6.519 at press time.
