Chainlink announced via X on Tuesday that Chainlink CCIP has officially launched on the Aptos blockchain. This is the first integration of CCIP on a Move-based chain, enhancing interoperability between EVM & non-EVM chains.
With this development, Aave's GHO will be natively available on Aptos as a Cross-Chain Token (CCT). Additional CCTs, uniBTC, and brBTC by Bedrock are also now live, enabling users to transfer assets today through the CCIP-powered Interport app. CCIP helps supercharge Aptos adoption while maintaining the highest level of security and reliability. Aptos is now connected with Arbitrum, Base, BNB Chain, Ethereum, OP Mainnet, and Sonic via CCIP, with more to come.
Chainlink Network (LINK) aims to provide tamper-proof inputs and outputs of data for smart contracts on any blockchain. LINK is down 1.21% over the past 24 hours, trading at $22.93.
Aptos is a scalable layer-1 blockchain based on the Move programming language. APT is the project's native token. APT is down 1.4%, trading at $4.369 per coin.
