Chainlink announced via X (formerly Twitter) on Thursday that Chainlink’s Cross-Chain Interoperability Protocol (CCIP) is now live on the Base mainnet, a fast and highly scalable layer-2 blockchain incubated by Coinbase and secured by Ethereum.

Thanks to this latest news, developers on Base now have access to the most secure and easy-to-use interoperability protocol for building cross-chain applications and services.
