In a blog post on Wednesday, the Algorand Foundation announced it had partnered with Tribe, Singapore’s first government-supported blockchain ecosystem builder. The strategic partnership will see both entities organize a series of initiatives to grow and support Web3 developers in Asia.

The Algorand Foundation said the partnership aims to attract more Web3 developer talent, upskill developers, provide support and resources where needed and drive education and talent management across the developer ecosystem. The foundation will leverage its 1 Billion Algo Ecosystem Fund to support the activation of Web3.0 developers worldwide.

Algorand is an open-source, permissionless, Pure Proof-of-Stake (PPoS) blockchain protocol for “the next generation of financial products”. As such, Algorand ensures "full participation, protection and speed within a truly decentralized network".

ALGO is trading at $0.6661 at press time, up by more than 7% in the last 24 hours.
