Alchemy Pay Invests in UK Fintech LaPay and Secures API License

The Alchemy Pay team announced via a blog post on Thursday that it has invested in LaPay UK Ltd, a UK-based fintech dedicated to facilitating international business growth for companies.

LaPay holds an Authorised Payment Institution (API) License in the UK with reference number 914920 and is regulated by the UK Financial Conduct Authority (FCA). The strategic investment aligns with Alchemy Pay’s aspirations to secure over 20 licenses globally in key regions such as the U.S., U.K., Hong Kong, Singapore, Australia, and South Korea.

Alchemy Pay is a payment system focused on retail transactions at the point of sale and peer-to-peer remittance. Users can make payments in fiat, stablecoins and other cryptocurrencies on traditional payment systems. Alchemy Pay’s ACH token is down by 1% in the last 24 hours and currently trades at $0.04114.
