What is TradeOgre?
TradeOgre’s is a centralized cryptocurrency exchange. Its domicile country is unclear. There is no info on the team behind the exchange or the security measures adopted at the exchange either. The foregoing is not a red flag per se, but we recommend all visitors to be careful and form their own opinion on whether TradeOgre is a legitimate exchange our not.
On the upside, this trading platform supports trading in 56 different cryptocurrencies. We have listed the biggest of them here but will include all others shortly as well.
TradeOgre does not explicitly prohibit US-investors from trading here. Any US-investors interested in trading here should in any event form their own opinion on any issues arising from their citizenship or residency.
TradeOgre Trading View
Different exchanges have different trading views. And there is no “this overview is the best”-view. You should yourself determine which trading view that suits you the best. What the views normally have in common is that they all show the order book or at least part of the order book, a price chart of the chosen cryptocurrency and order history. They normally also have buy and sell-boxes. Before you choose an exchange, try to have a look at the trading view so that you can ascertain that it feels right to you. The below is a picture of the trading view at TradeOgre:
TradeOgre Trading fees
This coin exchange has a comfortable 0.20% flat fee on all fulfilled orders. This is in line with industry average and should not deter anyone from trading here.
TradeOgre Withdrawal fees
There are a few exchanges out there with decent trading fees who lure investors in with a consumer-friendly offering and then smack them in the head with hefty withdrawal fees once the investors want to withdraw. TradeOgre is not one of those exchanges.
Here at this exchange, the withdrawal fees are “dynamically calculated”. The dynamic calculation depends on the technology of the specific coin you wish to withdraw. For BTC-withdrawals, at the time of last updating this review (13 October 2021), the withdrawal fee was 0.00005 BTC per BTC-withdrawal. This is very low and a strong competitive advantage for this exchange.
This trading venue does not accept any deposits of fiat currency. So if you’re looking to deposit some USD or EUR, you’ll have to look elsewhere. Don’t despair though! You can find an exchange where you can also deposit fiat currency by using our Exchange Finder!
