On Monday, the IOTA team announced via X that the IOTA Mainnet is now officially launched and Rebased. For IOTA token holders, the Rebased upgrade will be seamless, with no token migration necessary.
Furthermore, nearly all exchanges supporting IOTA trading will be fully compatible with the Rebased mainnet upgrade.
IOTA is a permissionless distributed ledger "for a new economy." IOTA aims to support the growth of a machine economy by enabling "fee-less machine-to-machine payments," offering greater scalability than blockchain networks. IOTA is trading at $0.2017, down 4% in the last 24 hours.
