Terra’s Blockchain Has Officially Halted

The Terra team told its community via a tweet on Friday that the Terra blockchain has officially halted at block 7607789. Terra Validators have halted the network to come up with a plan to reconstitute it. The team said it will provide further updates soon. 

Terra is an algorithmic stablecoin platform operating on a Proof of Stake (PoS) blockchain infrastructure built with Tendermint. LUNA, the native token of the Terra ecosystem, is down by more than 99% in the last 24 hours and is trading at $0.000062 at press time.
