Chainlink announced via X on Wednesday that it has partnered with Rapid Addition to build a CCIP-based blockchain adapter compatible with the FIXTrading Protocol.

Chainlink announced via X on Wednesday that it has partnered with Rapid Addition to build a CCIP-based blockchain adapter compatible with the FIXTrading Protocol. Rapid Addition is an acclaimed FIX connectivity solutions provider within financial markets.

The collaboration will allow banks and other financial institutions to deliver messages and interact with a broad spectrum of tokenized assets.

Rapid Addition pointed out that combining Chainlink CCIP's blockchain abstraction APIs and its platform into an institutional blockchain adapter makes it possible to seamlessly and securely connect FIX's industry protocols to smart contracts. 

Chainlink Network (LINK) aims to provide tamper-proof inputs and outputs of data for smart contracts on any blockchain. LINK is up by 1% over the past 24 hours and is trading at $13.234 at press time.
