On Friday, the Injective team announced via X that Korea's leading financial media platform, MK Media Group, has officially launched an institutional validator on Injective. MK Media Group boasts over 17 million monthly readers and is a trusted source of news across print, TV, and digital media platforms for Korea's financial sector.
By becoming a validator on Injective, MK Media Group joins a group of institutional validators that includes Google Cloud, Deutsche Telekom, Republic, BitGo, and, most recently, FalconX.
As an Injective validator, MK Media Group participates directly in the network's proof-of-stake consensus mechanism, helping secure the blockchain while earning staking rewards. The validator role requires staking INJ tokens and maintaining consistent uptime to validate transactions, propose blocks, and participate in on-chain governance.
Injective is an open, interoperable layer-one blockchain for building powerful DeFi applications. Injective uniquely provides plug-and-play financial infrastructure primitives, such as a high-performance on-chain decentralized exchange infrastructure, decentralized bridges, oracles, and a composable smart contract layer with CosmWasm. INJ is trading at $13.00, down 6.29% in the last 24 hours.
