On Thursday, Sonic Labs (formerly Fantom Foundation) announced via a blog post that GSR has become an official market maker for the $S token. GSR, a leading crypto capital markets firm, will deliver deep liquidity, strategic guidance, and full-stack support for the S token and broader DeFi ecosystem.

GSR will be deploying liquidity across Sonic’s DeFi ecosystem, offering tailored support to early-stage projects, and actively helping new teams go to market with strategic guidance and on-chain liquidity.

GSR is fully licensed and accredited, with regulatory approvals from the Monetary Authority of Singapore (MAS) and the UK Financial Conduct Authority (FCA).

Sonic (previously Fantom) is building a programmable platform on a directed acyclic-graph-based distributed ledger. Its S coin is up 1.3% in the last 24 hours and is currently trading at $0.5318.
