KuCoin Pay launches Gift Card, enabling businesses to distribute USDT and USDC globally through bulk issuance and API-integrated digital rewards.

KuCoin Lets Businesses Send Stablecoins via Redeemable Gift Cards

KuCoin Pay has launched KuCoin Gift Card, a digital-asset distribution product that enables businesses to send USDT and USDC to users worldwide via redeemable gift cards.

In a press release shared with Cryptowisser, KuCoin Pay noted that the solution is designed for companies seeking to incorporate stablecoins into customer rewards, promotional campaigns, employee incentives, and community-engagement programs.

By offering bulk issuance and application programming interface integrations, KuCoin Gift Card aims to simplify large-scale crypto distribution while reducing the operational work required from businesses.

Businesses Can Distribute USDT and USDC

KuCoin Gift Card enables companies to send supported stablecoins directly to customers, employees, business partners, and community members.

Recipients can redeem the cards through KuCoin and receive the corresponding USDT or USDC into their accounts. The process is designed to resemble conventional digital gift cards, providing a familiar experience for users who may have limited exposure to cryptocurrencies.

This approach could lower the technical barriers associated with distributing digital assets, as businesses do not need to develop their own wallet infrastructure or transfer system.

Companies can issue KuCoin Gift Cards in bulk, making the solution suitable for campaigns involving significant numbers of recipients.

Potential applications include customer-acquisition promotions, loyalty rewards, employee-recognition programs and community incentives.

API integration also allows businesses to embed stablecoin distribution into their existing applications and operational systems. A company could, for example, automatically send a gift card after a customer completes a purchase, reaches a loyalty milestone or participates in a campaign.

The infrastructure is intended to make crypto transfers more scalable without requiring businesses to process each distribution manually.

KuCoin Gift Card is not limited to a single redemption transaction. After claiming the USDT or USDC, recipients can hold, transfer, or use the assets across supported services within the KuCoin ecosystem. This creates a broader experience connecting the distribution, receipt, and subsequent use of digital assets.

KuCoin believes this value loop can make stablecoins more useful than conventional rewards that are limited to a specific retailer, product or expiration period.

However, recipients will need to use KuCoin and meet any applicable account, identity-verification or regional eligibility requirements to redeem and access the assets.

KuCoin Targets Practical Crypto Adoption

KuCoin Managing Director Alicia Kao said the next stage of cryptocurrency adoption will depend partly on how easily people can exchange and use digital assets in everyday economic activities.

According to Kao, the new gift-card product combines KuCoin Pay’s merchant infrastructure with the wider KuCoin ecosystem, creating a continuous process for sending, receiving and using crypto.

The company is positioning the product as a way for businesses to adopt stablecoin rewards without introducing significant technical or administrative complexity.

The launch advances KuCoin Pay’s effort to become a broader infrastructure layer connecting businesses with digital-asset users.

Stablecoins are playing an increasingly important role in global payments because they combine blockchain-based transfers with values tied to traditional currencies. Businesses are exploring their use for cross-border payments, rewards, payroll and customer incentives.

KuCoin Pay said it will continue developing payment and distribution tools intended to give digital assets more practical, real-world utility.

KuCoin Gift Card could support that strategy by offering businesses a familiar format for distributing stablecoins while introducing recipients to the company’s broader crypto ecosystem.

KuCoin Pay is a pioneering merchant solution that drives business growth by integrating cryptocurrency payments into retail. It offers a contactless, secure, and borderless payment system using a variety of cryptocurrencies and stablecoins. KuCoin Pay supports more than 50 cryptocurrencies, including KCS, USDT, USDC, BTC, which users can use to seamlessly pay for global products and services for both online and in-store purchases.
