Chainlink announced via X on Thursday that Folks Finance has integrated Chainlink CCIP to enable cross-chain lending across Avalanche, Base, and Ethereum networks. Folks Finance is a DeFi platform for lending, staking, borrowing, and trading digital assets.
Folks has also integrated Price Feeds to support secure markets for its borrowing and lending platform. By integrating Chainlink Price feeds, Folks has access to high-quality, tamper-proof price feeds needed to support secure markets on their borrowing and lending platform.
CCIP was selected as the preferred interoperability solution due to Chainlink’s proven track record of maintaining the highest standard of security and reliability in the blockchain industry. CCIP is the only interoperability solution achieving level-5 cross-chain security.
Chainlink Network (LINK) aims to provide tamper-proof inputs and outputs of data for smart contracts on any blockchain. LINK is up 4% over the past 24 hours and is trading at $12.63 at press time.
