On Thursday, the Avalanche Foundation announced via X that FIFA Collect is migrating to the Avalanche blockchain. FIFA Collect is the home of collectibles featuring iconic moments in the nearly 10-decade history of FIFA and collections from Clubs and Federations.

FIFA Collect will be launching a custom Avalanche L1 to unify its digital strategy across collectibles, ticketing, and more. By launching on Avalanche, FIFA Collect will enjoy sub-second finality and low fees.

Avalanche is an open-source platform for launching Decentralized Finance (DeFi) applications and enterprise blockchain deployments in an interoperable, highly scalable ecosystem.AVAX is up 6.5% today and currently trades at $25.45 per coin.
