CoinFello's Fello 2 Turns Plain-English Prompts Into DeFi Trades

CoinFello launches Fello 2, an AI agent that automates DeFi strategies from plain-language prompts and rewards eligible swaps and referrals.

CoinFello's Fello 2 Turns Plain-English Prompts Into DeFi Trades

CoinFello has released Fello 2, a major upgrade to its AI-powered platform for accessing and automating decentralized finance from a single interface.

While sharing this with Cryptowisser, CoinFello stated that the new agent allows users to describe complex onchain strategies in everyday language. Fello 2 interprets the instructions, creates an execution plan for the user to review and, once approved, runs the strategy in the background.

CoinFello says the upgrade shifts the DeFi experience from manually completing individual transactions to simply describing the desired outcome.

Fello 2 Turns DeFi Instructions Into Automations

Managing DeFi positions often requires users to compare rates across multiple decentralized applications, approve numerous transactions, and ensure that every order is configured correctly.

Fello 2 seeks to streamline that process by converting a single prompt into an automated workflow.

For example, a user could instruct the agent to move idle USDC into the best available stablecoin pool every Friday. The same prompt could direct Fello to add margin first if a position moves within 15% of liquidation and notify the user after completing the required actions.

The agent processes each condition, arranges the steps in the appropriate order, and reports its activity according to the user’s instructions.

The feature could be used to automate recurring tasks such as bridging assets, swapping tokens, staking, monitoring yields and rebalancing portfolios.

Fello 2 does not immediately execute every instruction it receives. It first interprets the user’s intent and produces a proposed plan for review.

The automation only begins after the user approves that plan. According to CoinFello, this structure ensures that Fello does not carry out transactions beyond the scope of the instructions and permissions it has been given.

For users with externally owned accounts, or EOAs, Fello can begin monitoring existing positions without requiring them to create or fund another wallet.

The agent can alert users to portfolio changes, liquidation risks, and potentially more attractive yield opportunities. A separate Automation Wallet is only required when users want Fello to act on those alerts and transfer funds.

CoinFello Adds Safeguards Against Malicious Transactions

Fello 2 also assesses transactions before requesting or providing authorization.

CoinFello says the agent can reject blind-signing requests, approval-phishing attempts, and transactions designed to drain a wallet. It is also programmed not to request permissions beyond those explicitly granted by the user.

The agent does not hold users’ private keys. Instead, it operates through a delegation model that limits its access to approved actions. Users can revoke these permissions at any time.

Despite these safeguards, automated DeFi activity continues to involve smart-contract, market, liquidity, and protocol risks. Users should review proposed strategies and permissions carefully before approving execution.

CoinFello introduced a new Rewards Program alongside the Fello 2 launch. Under the program, users receive a share of the fees generated from eligible swaps conducted through Fello. Rewards are paid in MON and can be viewed through the platform’s Rewards dashboard.

Users can also earn a share of the fees generated by people they refer. Referral earnings continue for as long as the referred participant completes qualifying swaps, and CoinFello has not announced a limit on the number of referrals or the amount users can earn.

During a limited launch period, CoinFello plans to return 100% of the swap fees it generates from eligible activity to users and their referrers.

The company expects to introduce a standard reward-sharing rate after the promotional period ends. Details about the revised split and when it will take effect will be published before the launch campaign concludes.

Users Retain Control of Their Rewards

Swap and referral earnings are itemized separately on CoinFello’s Rewards dashboard. Once available, users can claim the MON rewards to a wallet they control.

CoinFello is also developing a feature that would allow users to deposit claimed rewards into a self-custodial account managed through Fello to compound their earnings. However, the feature is not yet available.

CoinFello co-founder and CEO jacobc.eth said Fello 2 is intended to reduce the time users spend repeatedly bridging, swapping, staking, checking rates, and rebalancing positions. He concluded that,

"The hardest part of DeFi isn't one thing; it's two: knowing the right move, and then actually making it, over and over again. Bridge, swap, stake, check back at midnight to see if the rate moved, rebalance a portfolio manually in a week, and repeat. That whole process eats up hours of your time, even for someone who is comfortable with DeFi. Through a single prompt, Fello 2 transforms the manual steps in the process into automations. You describe it once, and the automation handles the schedule, the steps, and the conditions in between. And importantly, on a wallet you own, with nothing executed you didn't approve. And from today, 100% of the fees generated from swaps go back to the people making them, not to us. That is the version of onchain finance I actually want to use."

Fello 2 is Now Available

Fello 2 is available through the CoinFello app and is now the default agent for every new chat.

Users can also create referral links and monitor their earnings through the platform’s Rewards dashboard.

CoinFello is an agentic platform for researching, executing, and automating onchain actions. Using plain language, users can send, swap, bridge, stake, create LPs, and automate their DeFi strategies across EVM-compatible networks while maintaining full custody of their wallets and private keys. CoinFello uses a delegation model that gives Fello only the permissions users choose to grant.

Monad is a high-performance, institutional-grade Layer 1 blockchain enabling open access to financial markets on neutral ground. Fully EVM-compatible, Monad delivers 10,000 TPS, 300ms block times, 600ms finality, and near-zero fees — without requiring specialised hardware. The network runs on consumer-grade machines, supporting accessible participation and decentralized network operation: ~200 independently operated validators across 30+ countries and 55+ cities secure the chain today.
