Chainlink Rallies Higher as BTC, ETH, Others Underperform

LINK Trades Above $18 After its 6% Rally

LINK, the native coin of the Chainlink ecosystem, is the best performer amongst the top 20 cryptocurrencies by market cap. It is up by more than 6% in the last 24 hours, outperforming the other major cryptocurrencies.

At press time, LINK is trading at $18.04 per coin. There is no catalyst behind its rally, with its 24-hour trading volume surging by 149%.

Chainlink’s rally comes as Bitcoin, Ether, and other major cryptocurrencies retreat. BTC, the world’s leading cryptocurrency by market cap, is down by 1% in the last 24 hours and is now trading at $67,769 per coin.

Ether is also retracing after last week’s rally. ETH is now trading below $3,900, down by 1% so far today. With altcoins also underperforming, the total cryptocurrency market cap has dipped by 1.3% and now stands at $2.55 trillion.
