Chainlink Joins the Global Synchronizer Foundation

On Thursday, the Chainlink team announced via X that it has joined the Global Synchronizer Foundation (GSF). GSF is the governance body supporting the Global Synchronizer—the interoperability layer of the Canton Network.

The Canton ecosystem stands to gain from Chainlink’s deep experience in building and operating critical infrastructure that supports high-value, real-world use cases across capital markets and DeFi. By contributing to the foundation’s technical direction and platform strategy, Chainlink Labs helps create the conditions for scalable, secure, and institutional-grade applications to thrive.

As part of the Global Synchronizer Foundation, Chainlink Labs will collaborate with other foundation members to help shape the underlying frameworks that define how applications coordinate across the Canton ecosystem. This includes contributing to shared standards, supporting long-term infrastructure governance, and helping ensure the network evolves in a way that balances openness with institutional readiness.

Chainlink Network (LINK) aims to provide tamper-proof data inputs and outputs for smart contracts on any blockchain. LINK is down 6.5% over the past 24 hours, trading at $12.92 at press time.
