The Celo team announced via Twitter on Tuesday that it has partnered with Google Cloud to help sustainability-focused startups on Celo build & scale Web3 applications.

The Celo team announced via Twitter on Tuesday that it has partnered with Google Cloud to help sustainability-focused startups on Celo build & scale Web3 applications. Per the terms of the partnership, Google Cloud would provide founders who build with Celo credits for Google Cloud and Firebase usage--growing mission-aligned projects in Celo’s ecosystem while expanding Google Cloud services, the team added.

Celo is an open platform that supports various distributed applications, smart contract development and payments using e-mail addresses and phone numbers as public keys. CELO is up by 10% in the last 24 hours and is currently trading at $0.722.
