Bitcoin Reclaims $85,000 as ETF Inflows Hit $433M

TL;DR

  • Bitcoin rose back above $85,000 on Monday, extending last week’s 5% recovery.

  • The move took BTC toward its highest level in eight months.

  • U.S. spot Bitcoin ETFs recorded $433 million in inflows on Friday, according to the report.

  • A bullish MACD crossover points to renewed upward momentum.

  • If the rally holds, $90,000 is the next major price level to watch.

Bitcoin reclaimed $85,000 on Monday, extending a recovery that lifted the cryptocurrency by 5% last week. The advance brought BTC toward an eight-month high as buyers pushed through a closely watched price level.

The move coincided with renewed demand for U.S. spot Bitcoin exchange-traded funds. The funds recorded $433 million in inflows on Friday, according to the report, providing a potential source of support for the rally.

MACD Signals Stronger Momentum

Bitcoin’s daily chart also shows improving momentum. The Moving Average Convergence Divergence indicator, or MACD, crossed above its signal line, a pattern traders often interpret as a sign that buying pressure is increasing.

The crossover supports the bullish near-term outlook, though it does not guarantee that gains will continue. Whether BTC can stay above $85,000 will be an important test after its rapid recovery.

If Bitcoin sustains its move above $85,000, traders may turn their attention to the $90,000 mark. Continued ETF inflows and firm buying momentum could help BTC approach that level.

A reversal below $85,000, however, would raise questions about the strength of the breakout. As the story develops, the next price moves and ETF flow data will offer a clearer picture of whether the recovery can extend.
