Binance to Shut Down Mining Pool and Cloud Mining on Nov 10

TL;DR

  • Binance will end its mining pool and related services on November 10 at 7 a.m. UTC.

  • Binance Pool, Pool Savings, Cloud Mining, and Transaction Accelerator are included in the closure.

  • Mining submissions after the cutoff will not be processed or credited, and new rewards will stop accruing.

  • Users should redirect mining equipment and redeem or unsubscribe from active Pool Savings positions before the deadline.

Binance will discontinue its mining pool and associated products on November 10 at 7 a.m. UTC, the exchange announced Tuesday.

The shutdown forms part of an ongoing review of its product lineup. It comes alongside Binance’s expansion into traditional finance-linked derivatives and AI-powered trading tools.

Mining Services and Endpoints Will Close Together

The closure covers Binance Pool, Pool Savings, Cloud Mining and Transaction Accelerator.

Supporting features will also be disabled, including Telegram hashrate alerts, email notifications, mining pool APIs, Stratum URLs and endpoints.

Binance said hashrate submissions and mining shares received after the deadline will no longer be accepted, processed, or credited.

Access points for the products will close, and users will stop accruing new rewards, yield or service benefits.

The exchange urged customers to redirect their mining equipment to another pool before services end.

Users with active Pool Savings positions should also redeem their holdings or unsubscribe before the cutoff.

Eligible outstanding rewards, refunds and settlements will be processed according to the applicable product terms. Account status, compliance checks, and other requirements may affect processing.

The notice does not establish a single payment schedule for every affected service.

Binance Pool pages will remain available for 14 days after the shutdown, allowing users to view historical data, account records, and payout status where available.

That access will end on November 24 at 7 a.m. UTC, after which the pages will become permanently inaccessible.

Customers who need those records should retrieve them before the final access deadline.

Exchange Expands Derivatives and AI Offerings

The mining closure accompanies changes elsewhere in Binance’s business. Last month, the exchange announced plans to offer physically settled options on more than 1,000 U.S.-listed stocks and ETFs through Nest Trading, its Abu Dhabi Global Market-regulated broker-dealer.

Binance said trading volume for its traditional finance perpetual futures reached $433.4 billion in August, up from $29.5 billion in January.

On Monday, it also rolled out its AI-powered trading interface to English-language users globally following a beta test involving approximately 150,000 participants.

Binance cited its product review as the reason for the mining shutdown, without directly linking the decision to those launches.
