Binance Charity has entered into a strategic partnership with the Children of Heroes Foundation to support war-affected Children in Ukraine.

Binance Charity, the philanthropic arm of the leading global blockchain ecosystem Binance, has entered into a strategic partnership with the Children of Heroes Foundation. The partnership is designed to bring relief and emotional recovery to children impacted by the ongoing war in Ukraine.

In a press release shared with Cryptowisser, Binance Charity said their shared goal is to run a 12-day therapeutic camp, "I am Da Vinci," designed to support 50 children who have tragically lost one or both parents due to the war conflict in Ukraine.

This latest development intends to foster a friendly environment to help these children overcome their trauma. Binance Charity added that the camp will offer a unique blend of activities and resources prioritizing aspects of emotional recovery, community bonding, adventure, and psychological support.

While commenting on this latest development, Kyrylo Khomiakov, Binance’s Regional Head for CEE & Central Asia, said,

"Every child deserves the love and security of a family. At Binance, we are more than willing to support initiatives aimed at alleviating their suffering and restoring hope. In every child we help, we see a brighter future not just for Ukraine, but for the entire world. Our commitment to providing compassionate assistance is not a choice, but a responsibility we wholeheartedly embrace.”

Tetiana Novytska, CEO of the Children of Heroes added that,

“The war has hurt the emotional and psychological state of children, especially those who are experiencing the loss of their loved ones. Our beneficiaries have faced various psychological traumas, and if they do not work with specialists now, the consequences can manifest themselves for years. The mission of our Fund is to ensure that all of our beneficiaries are integrated into society and have every opportunity to build a successful life. Therefore, organizing such camps, where children will work with psychologists and recover from difficult experiences, is one of the most crucial areas of our activity. We want to see the smiling faces of children who enjoy their childhood or youth again, not crying eyes, despair, and irritation. Children are our future, so we must care for them and provide all the support they need at the right time.”

Children attending the camp will be provided opportunities to express themselves creatively through various activities, competitions, and tasks promoting self-expression and intellectual growth.

Furthermore, Binance Charity will provide psychological support throughout the camp's duration to help the children process their emotions, understand their losses, and cope with the after-effects of their traumatic experiences.

The program intends to mitigate feelings of isolation and loneliness and allow children to form strong bonds with others who share similar experiences. Binance Charity added that a total of 50,000 USDT (equivalent to 2,000,000 UAH) will be invested in facilitating this camp experience, proving instrumental in carrying out this initiative.
