Chainlink announced via X on Tuesday that Chainlink Functions has been integrated within the intel verification process of the Arkham Intel Exchange. The integration adds an additional, decentralized layer between the Arkham Foundation’s intel verification and the smart contract which pays out successful intel submitters.

Furthermore, the integration replaces the existing centralized oracle solution with a decentralized oracle network, a technical prerequisite for decentralized verification. Chainlink Functions provides an environment and toolkit to build, test, simulate, and run custom JavaScript logic offchain. It will also enable Arkham to connect to Web2 datasets, public or private APIs, and legacy systems.

Chainlink Network (LINK) aims to provide tamper-proof inputs and outputs of data for smart contracts on any blockchain. LINK is up by 1% over the past 24 hours and is trading at $15.490 at press time.
