In a tweet on Tuesday, the Yearn Finance team announced that the Tokenized Vault Standard (ERC-4626) is now available.

n a tweet on Tuesday, the Yearn Finance team announced that the Tokenized Vault Standard (ERC-4626) is now available. According to Yearn Finance, if developers build an app on top of one ERC-4626 vault, it will work for all other ERC-4626 tokens. It added that ERC-4626 would be the gold standard for any interest-bearing token, and it would launch its Yearn Finance v3 as ERC-4626. 

ERC-4626 is a newly proposed Ethereum token standard designed to resolve the varying design types for tokens in decentralized finance (DeFi):

YFI is trading at $21,409, down by more than 7% in the last 24 hours.
