On Monday, the Wormhole team announced via a blog post that the Monad Native Bridge will be powered by Wormhole, enabling seamless multichain transfers of native assets, such as MON and ETH, between Monad and Ethereum. This bridge will serve as an interface for asset transfers to and from Monad.
The Monad Native Bridge uses Wormhole's NTT standard and Axelar's General Message Passing for its infrastructure in a strategic alliance with Mayan, Pyth, and other leading infrastructure partners. This foundational primitive establishes robust connections between Monad and Ethereum, enabling seamless, efficient movement of both assets and data throughout the broader ecosystem.
Monad is a Layer 1 blockchain that delivers full EVM compatibility with breakthrough performance, true decentralization, production-grade security, and exceptional throughput of 10,000 TPS.
Wormhole is a leading interoperability platform powering multichain applications and bridges at scale. Wormhole’s modular suite of open-source, permissionless protocols and tools is being used by multichain builders to create some of the most popular web3 applications.
