The Algorand Foundation has welcomed Sock Hodler, a seller of premium physically-backed NFT Socks for cryptocurrency enthusiasts to the Algorand ecosystem. The Algorand Foundation has awarded Sock Hodler a grant in a bid to bridge the gap between NFTs and physical goods

Algorand is an open-source, permissionless, Pure Proof-of-Stake (PPoS) blockchain protocol for “the next generation of financial products”. As such, Algorand ensures "full participation, protection and speed within a truly decentralized network".
