Planet IX Integrates Chainlink VRF On Polygon

The Chainlink team announced via Twitter on Tuesday that Planet IX — a blockchain-based strategy and trading game — has integrated Chainlink Verifiable Random Function (VRF) on the Polygon mainnet.

The Chainlink team announced via Twitter on Tuesday that Planet IX — a blockchain-based strategy and trading game — has integrated Chainlink Verifiable Random Function (VRF) on the Polygon mainnet. The integration grants Planet IX access to a tamper-proof and auditable source of randomness that will be used to help randomize player rewards when prospecting Waste in EternaLabs, tiers during facility construction in NewLands LLC, and the contents of Gravity Grade crates.

Chainlink Network (LINK) aims to provide tamper-proof inputs and outputs of data for smart contracts on any blockchain. LINK is down by more than 1% over the past 24 hours and is trading at $5.953 at press time.
