Performa Opens Crypto Payouts to 170 Countries Without Custody

The Panama-based finance operations platform for digital-native SMBs has opened self-service onboarding, added non-custodial wallet connection, and introduced task-based pricing.

Performa, a finance operations platform for small and medium-sized businesses working across digital assets and fiat, has released a platform upgrade one year after going live. The company said the update extends the product beyond crypto payments and OTC access into a broader infrastructure layer covering payment acceptance, fiat settlement, payouts and treasury control.

The upgrade introduces a self-service onboarding flow. Businesses can register on the website, complete a simplified first-level verification, connect a wallet, and begin using entry-level functionality such as invoicing and payment links. Full KYB remains required to unlock higher limits and the full range of custodial services.

Alongside the existing custodial flow, the platform now supports a non-custodial option. Businesses can connect their own Web3 wallet and monitor transactions, create payment links and manage invoices without transferring funds into custody. Fiat settlement, mass payouts, OTC access and API integrations become available after KYB is completed.

According to the company, the platform's service range covers four areas: payment acceptance, in both custodial and non-custodial modes, via payment links and invoices; outbound payments, including bulk payouts to teams, contractors, vendors and partners via CSV; exchange, covering fiat on- and off-ramp flows and access to vetted OTC partners; and treasury management through wallet monitoring in a single dashboard.

Performa states that the platform supports more than 100 digital currencies, funding in USDT or over 20 fiat currencies via SWIFT and SEPA, payouts to more than 170 countries, and local withdrawals in more than 140 countries. The company has also moved to a task-based pricing model with product-specific fees and custom terms for higher-volume clients.

The release comes as cross-border payment friction remains a documented problem for smaller businesses. In a Visa-commissioned survey of financial decision-makers at European businesses with fewer than 250 employees, 75% of respondents said they expect their cross-border payment values to increase over the next 12 months. The same research found that 32% cite high fees or opaque FX costs, one in three struggle with manual reconciliation, and 30% report a lack of visibility across systems. Visa also reported that 81% of surveyed SMBs are open to trying new cross-border payment solutions.

The product is live at performa.com.

Performa is a finance operations platform for digital-native SMBs, combining digital asset payments, wallet monitoring, invoicing, treasury flows, exchange, fiat settlement, payouts, revenue splitting and reconciliation in a single workspace.
