Oasis Network’s Damask Upgrade Will Take Place Today

The Oasis Protocol announced via Twitter that its Damask Upgrade will occur today, April 11.

The Oasis Protocol announced via Twitter that its Damask Upgrade will occur today, April 11. The Oasis Network (both the Consensus and ParaTime layers) will halt around 08:30 UTC and resume till the upgrade is completed. Services will be temporarily unavailable, the team added.

In a previous post, The Oasis Protocol said the Damask upgrade would provide many improvements, including increased security and performance, strengthened governance mechanisms, and more decentralization. 

Oasis Network is a decentralized blockchain network built by Oasis Labs that enables secure and private data-sharing and control. ROSE, the native token of the Oasis Network, is down by more than 3% in the last 24 hours and currently trades at $0.25377.
