Chainlink Introduces Chainlink Functions

Chainlink has launched Chainlink Functions, a serverless developer platform that empowers anyone to easily connect a smart contract to any Web2 API and run custom computations using Chainlink’s highly secure and reliable network.

Chainlink announced via a blog post on Wednesday that it has launched Chainlink Functions, a serverless developer platform that empowers anyone to easily connect a smart contract to any Web2 API and run custom computations using Chainlink’s highly secure and reliable network. With Chainlink Functions, Web3 developers can quickly and securely build connections from smart contracts to off-chain resources on a self-serve basis without having to run their own infrastructure, the team added. 

Chainlink Network (LINK) aims to provide tamper-proof inputs and outputs of data for smart contracts on any blockchain. LINK is down by 1% over the past 24 hours and is trading at $7.385 at press time.
