Binance's stock trading platform surpassed $1 billion in AUM and $3 billion in trading volume within 30 days, fueled by strong demand for U.S. equities.

Binance Stock Trading Tops $1 Billion in Assets Within 30 Days of Launch

Binance, the world's largest blockchain ecosystem and digital asset infrastructure provider, has announced that its stock trading platform has surpassed $1 billion in assets under management (AUM) just 30 days after launch.

In a press release shared with Cryptowisser, Binance said since going live on June 1, 2026, the platform has also generated more than $3 billion in total trading volume, highlighting strong early demand for access to U.S. equities through the Binance ecosystem.

Integrated directly into the Binance app, the service allows users to trade more than 7,000 U.S. stocks and exchange-traded funds (ETFs) using stablecoins while managing both traditional and digital assets from a single account.

Strong Early Adoption Driven by Emerging Markets

Binance reported several milestones achieved during the first month of operation:

  • Assets under management exceeded $1 billion within 30 days.

  • Total trading volume surpassed $3 billion.

  • Average daily net inflows reached approximately $42 million.

  • Around 73% of users originated from emerging markets.

  • One in seven visitors to the stock trading page created a Binance account, with nearly 90% of those new users completing at least one trade.

  • Fractional share transactions accounted for 35% of total equity trading volume, allowing investors to participate with as little as $5.

  • Approximately 71% of equity holdings were concentrated in the technology sector, with nearly half of those investments allocated to semiconductor companies.

According to Shunyet Jan, Head of Exchange and Trading at Binance, the rapid growth demonstrates pent-up global demand for easier access to U.S. stock markets.

He said the company designed the product for millions of investors who have traditionally faced barriers to investing in U.S. equities, adding that the milestone reflects strong interest from users seeking a simpler entry point into global financial markets.

Bridging the Global Brokerage Gap

Binance said its stock trading platform aims to address longstanding accessibility challenges identified by Binance Research.

The research estimates that only about 11% of adults worldwide currently own a brokerage account. Although U.S. equities account for roughly half of global stock market capitalization, international investors hold only around 18% of that market, while equity ownership outside the United States remains below 20% in many regions.

By enabling users to purchase U.S. stocks and ETFs using stablecoins or BNB—without opening a traditional brokerage account—Binance hopes to expand participation among investors in underserved markets.

The platform's data supports that trend, with nearly three-quarters of users coming from emerging economies where access to conventional brokerage services has historically been limited.

Fractional investing has emerged as one of the platform's most popular features. Binance said fractional trades represented an average of 35% of total equity trading activity during the first month, peaking at 72% on June 10 before settling around 20% as trading volumes matured.

The company said the feature enables users to gain exposure to high-priced U.S. stocks with investments starting from just $5, removing the need to purchase full shares.

Technology Stocks Lead Investor Interest

User activity suggests investors are taking a focused approach rather than engaging in speculative trading.

Nearly 740 of the more than 7,000 listed stocks and ETFs have already been traded since launch. Technology companies account for roughly 71% of users' equity holdings, while semiconductor firms represent 48% of investments within the technology sector.

According to Binance, technology stocks generate approximately 23 times the trading volume of other sectors, reflecting strong investor interest in artificial intelligence and semiconductor-related themes.

The company said these allocation patterns indicate users are actively managing sector exposure instead of trading indiscriminately.

Binance believes crypto exchanges are well positioned to reshape access to traditional financial markets.

The company noted that while there are currently about 700 million brokerage accounts worldwide, cryptocurrency exchanges collectively serve hundreds of millions of users, particularly in regions where traditional investment platforms have limited reach.

Based on current adoption trends, Binance Research projects that crypto exchanges could direct as much as $2 trillion in new capital into global equity markets and introduce 300 million new equity investors by 2031.

The research also forecasts that assets under management for Binance's stock trading platform could exceed $10 billion by the end of 2026, less than seven months after its debut.

The latest milestone follows the recent success of bStocks, Binance's tokenized 1:1 U.S. securities offering, which reached $100 million in assets under management within two weeks of launch.

Together, Binance said its stock trading platform and bStocks initiative represent part of the company's broader strategy to expand investment opportunities beyond cryptocurrencies and provide users with access to a wider range of global financial assets.
