On Wednesday, the Alchemy Pay team announced via a blog post that it has launched its new fiat payment rails (acquiring) solution, starting with full support for Brazil’s PIX instant payment system. The new solution allows Alchemy Pay’s partners to accept user deposits and process withdrawals directly in Brazilian reais (BRL), streamlining the entire pay-in and payout process.
The integration allows users to deposit funds via PIX and withdraw the same way, bringing seamless, real-time fiat payment capabilities to crypto platforms. Introduced by the Central Bank of Brazil in 2020, PIX has become the country’s most widely used payment method, adopted by over 76% of the Brazilian population for instant transfers via mobile banking apps, QR codes, or PIX keys.
Alchemy Pay is a payment system focused on retail transactions at the point of sale and peer-to-peer remittance. Users can make payments using fiat, stablecoins, and other cryptocurrencies on traditional payment systems. Alchemy Pay’s ACH token is up 1.6% in the last 24 hours and trades at $0.01268.
