The Zilliqa team announced via a blog post on Wednesday that it has launched the Zilliqa Group. Zilliqa Group is a unified company structure that encompasses an integrated group of businesses developing Web3 and blockchain applications on the Zilliqa network.
The team said they will be transitioning from Zilliqa Research to Zilliqa Group and will establish a new framework soon. The new framework will allow companies incorporated under the group’s umbrella to offer world-class services that link and build upon technology created by other elements of the new group structure.
Zilliqa (ZIL) is one of the world’s first blockchains being built on a sharded architecture and features smart contracts written in the platform’s proprietary programming language: Scilla. ZIL is trading at $0.01699 at press time, up by 2% in the last 24 hours.
