On Monday, the Zilliqa team announced via X that he migration to Zilliqa 2.0 has officially begun at block 4770087.

On Monday, the Zilliqa team announced via X that he migration to Zilliqa 2.0 has officially begun at block 4770087. The team assured users that their funds are safe during this migration.

Users holding ZIL in non-custodial wallets (e.g., ZilPay, Zillet, Torch, Moonlet, Atomic, etc.) do not need to take any action.

Users staking ZIL in a non-custodial wallet will need to:

  • Unstake their ZIL

  • Transfer it to an EVM-compatible wallet

  • Stake again via the new staking portal.

Zilliqa (ZIL) is one of the world’s first blockchains being built on a sharded architecture and features smart contracts written in the platform’s proprietary programming language: Scilla. ZIL is trading at $0.01101, up 9.3% in the last 24 hours.
