The Polygon team announced via Twitter on Wednesday that WorldPay Global will enable USDC settlement for clients on the Polygon PoS chain. This is part of a broader strategy to become the first global merchant acquirer and Fortune 250 company to become a Polygon validator, the Polygon team added.

By enabling USDC settlements, they are expanding Web3 settlement capabilities to a hungry market of clients across the globe, and Polygon is more than delighted to be a part of this expansion.
