Worldcoin Hints at Upcoming Major Announcements, WLD Surges by 10%

WLD Surges by 10% Amid Major Announcements

WLD, Worldcoin’s native token, is the third-best performer amongst the top 100 cryptocurrencies by market cap. It is up by more than 10% over the last 24 hours and was only outperformed by Starknet and Filecoin.

At press time, WLD’s price stands at $8.15 per coin. The rally comes after Tools of Humanity’s (the company behind Worldcoin) head of product, engineering & design, Tiago Sada, hinted at upcoming major announcements from the project. He told The Block in a recent interview that,

"We're super excited about a couple of other major announcements that we have coming up. But, I'll leave you in suspense for now."

The suspense surrounding the upcoming announcements coincided with Worldcoin's success in growing its total signup numbers to more than 3.5 million. At the beginning of 2024, the project has about 2.5 million signups. The team pointed out that,

"The growing interest in Wold App and World ID is incredible. Use the World App to locate and book an appointment to verify your World ID in Spain and Portugal. New locations coming soon."

WLD has been one of the best performers over the last few weeks. The token is up by 250% in the last 30 days, outperforming Bitcoin and other major cryptocurrencies.
