The Uniswap team announced the launch of its unique uni.eth usernames via X on Thursday.

The Uniswap team announced the launch of its unique uni.eth usernames via X on Thursday. The uni.eth is a readable username that makes it easy to receive crypto and build a user’s web3 profile. Users can now claim their uni.eth username for free in the Uniswap mobile app.

Uniswap added that uni.eth usernames are built on ENS infrastructure, using ENS subdomains. This implies that they are supported across the thousands of apps that support ENS names, even outside of Uniswap products.

Uniswap is a decentralized exchange protocol built on Ethereum. To be more precise, it is an automated liquidity protocol. There is no order book or any centralized party required to make trades. UNI, the native token of Uniswap, is currently trading at $7.182, down by 2% in the last 24 hours.
