The CDK OP Stack Configuration is Now Part of Polygon’s AggLayer

On Wednesday, Polygon Labs announced via X that the CDK OP Stack configuration, with native Agglayer interoperability, is now live on AggLayer. This presents a new way to build OP Stack chains, supercharged with zk tech and maximum sovereignty.

Developers can enjoy this feature without the silos, 15% tax, or seven-day delays. The CDK OP Stack configuration runs on the same Ethereum Geth client that developers already know. Still, unlike OP Stack’s configuration, it uses ZK for improved security and eliminates the Superchain tax.

The first release of CDK OP Stack ships in sovereign mode—low-cost, high-performance, and with Agglayer’s pessimistic proof to ensure crosschain security (so no chain can rug another).

Polygon (previously Matic Network) is the first well-structured, easy-to-use platform for Ethereum scaling and infrastructure development. Its core component is Polygon SDK, a modular, flexible framework that supports building multiple types of applications. POL is up 3% in the last 24 hours and trades at $0.226.
