The Pancakeswap team announced via a Medium post on Monday that it has slashed its trading fees for Stableswap products to 0.01%. The 0.01% applies to Pancakeswap’s USDT-BUSD, USDC-BUSD, and USDC-USDT pools. StableSwap on PancakeSwap is a feature to trade stable pairs with a lower slippage based on an invariant curve slippage function.
The team said the lower fees would help to increase the volume of trades and overall liquidity on PancakeSwap, as well as improve volumes on other Swap pairs by reducing the total fees incurred on trade routing.
PancakeSwap is a BNB Chain-based decentralized exchange (DEX) with an automated market maker (AMM) model for swapping BEP-20 tokens. CAKE is up by 3% today and is currently trading at $4.483.
